Stolen Audi Recovered in Darien

DARIEN, CT — A 2015 Audi A4 reported stolen from Newtown was recovered in Darien April 10. The vehicle was seen parked in town since April 9

The vehicle was found with the driver's side door slightly ajar with contents strewn about the vehicle, police said. It was reported stolen form Newtown on April 7. (To sign up for free, local breaking news alerts from more than 100 Connecticut communities click here.)

Newtown Police secured and processed the vehicle.

"The investigation into this recovery, and its potential ties to other criminal activity, both in Darien and around Fairfield County, is continuing," said Lt. Jeremiah Marron, police spokesman. "The vehicle was recovered in good condition."
