Stolen Vehicle Tracked to Goodwive's Shopping Center: PD

The vehicle was recovered and police intend to make an arrest.

DARIEN, CT—Police intend to arrest a Norwalk man on a warrant after a stolen vehicle was tracked by GPS.

Norwalk Police notified Darien Police that the vehicle was being tracked near Sedwick Avenue in Darien. The vehicle was stolen from Norwalk.

The suspect was stopped in the Goodwive's Shopping Center and claimed the vehicle belonged to his boss.

A Lillian August employee from Norwalk came down to Darien and took possession of the stolen vehicle. A company key box that contained keys to the vehicle was broken into on a prior date, police said.

The suspect may have been a temporary employee.

Police intend to charge the suspect with third-degree larceny. He was taken to the hospital after he complained of difficulty breathing and admitted to using drugs earlier in the day, police said.
