Thousands Worth of Jewelry Stolen in Darien: PD

Several pieces of jewelry along with prescription medication was stolen from a safe.

DARIEN, CT — Police are investigating after a woman reported that several pieces of jewelry worth thousands of dollars along with prescription medication was stolen from a safe on Coach Lamp Lane.

The theft is thought to have occurred between Christmas and Jan. 22. A 63-year-old woman who is living with family members is the victim. She resides in a basement bedroom.

Among the stolen items were: a 14 karat gold ring, a 24 karat gold bracelet, a gold-colored necklace, several gold rings and a platinum ring with diamonds.
