Timeline Of When The Rain Arrives And Ends Sunday In Connecticut
If you have a barbecue planned Sunday, here's the timeline of when the rain will be at its heaviest and when it's expected to end.

Because it’s Labor Day weekend many people have outdoor plans and if you have a barbecue scheduled Sunday, here’s an updated timeline of when to expect the rain to arrive and end. The rain is expected to move into the southern and western part of the state after 9 p.m. Saturday, 11 p.m. in the central portion of Connecticut and after midnight in the northern part of the state, according to the National Weather Service.
A steady rain is expected to fall until around 10 a.m. Sunday before it tapers off to showers. The chance for showers and possibly a thunderstorm continues until around 3 p.m. After 3 p.m. there is only a slight chance of some scattered showers up until 8 p.m. Up to an inch of rain is possible between late Saturday night and Sunday morning and early afternoon.
The actual Labor Day forecast is beautiful and a return to summer temporarily as we’ll see a lot of sun and temps around 80 degrees. (To sign up for free, local breaking news alerts from more than 100 Connecticut communities click here.)
