Tools Stolen From Unoccupied Darien Home: Police

DARIEN, CT —Police said this week they are investigating a burglary that was reported on April 11 in Darien at an unoccupied home that's currently under construction.

On that date, Darien police officers responded around 7 a.m. to a home on the Post Road on a report of a residential burglary.

The complainant told police when he arrived for work, he found the rear door open and noticed the lock had been tampered with, police said, adding that several tools were reported stolen.
