Town Of Darien: Railroad Parking Update For Summer 2023

Metro North will be doing a major track project on the New Canaan branch beginning May 30th. The work is expected to continue through at least the end of the summer. During that time, Metro North will run buses from the New Canaan branch stations to the Stamford station. We expect a number of New Canaan commuters will choose to drive to either the Darien or Noroton Heights station instead. Our lots are open to the general public via daily parking spots, and we expect that these lots may fill up more quickly than usual. Traffic in and around the stations may also increase this summer.
