Town Plan Update in Works for Darien

The state requires communities to update their town plans every 10 years.

A new town plan for Darien is in the works, and talks continue about what it should contain.

According to an article in the Darien Times, the Planning and Zoning Commission recently met to discuss downtown Darien and Noroton Heights.

The commission was joined by Glenn Chandler of Planometrics, who will begin the first draft of the updated Town Plan of Conservation and Development in the next few weeks.
