Trees Spray-painted with Swastika Symbols in Darien
Five trees in town were spray-painted with the hateful symbol, police said.

A Darien resident found several trees that were spray painted with swastika symbols.
Police responded to the area near Olsen Woods Bird Sanctuary on July 19 and found five trees that were tagged with red spray-painted swastikas, police said.
A red spray-painted phallic symbol was also found on a tree.

The resident said she didn’t see the spray paint the day before.
The sanctuary is maintained by the Darien Land Trust and they were notified of the incident, police said.
