Two Charged After Domestic Fight in Darien

The fight spilled outside, according to police.

DARIEN, CT- A couple was charged following a domestic fight in Darien.

A 32-year-old man from Seymour and a 32-year-old woman from Darien were charged for the incident.

Police got a call about the incident on March 26. They arrived to Allen O'neil Drive and found a man walking down the street followed by his juvenile son.

The man and woman had an argument after the child was left with a neighbor. The child is not related to the female suspect.

A verbal argument ensued and the man said the woman shut the door on him, which damaged the door jam. The female said he kicked the door.

The man had kicked an exterior column at the home and caused damage, police said. The woman threw some items out onto the walkway, including a glass table and stand. Pieces of the glass struck the man in the face.

Both said they didn't want the other arrested. They were each charged with disorderly conduct and the man was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
