Upcoming Budget Meetings Scheduled In Darien

DARIEN, CT — The formal review process for the school and town budgets will kick off on March 5 during the regularly scheduled Board of Finance meeting.

The Board of Selectmen will present its recommended $53.6 million budget, and the Board of Education will present its $121.8 million spending plan. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

On March 12, the Board of Finance will hold its annual public hearing on the budgets in room 206 at Darien Town Hall.

The Board of Finance is slated to vote on the budget on April 9. The Representative Town MEeting will have the final say during its May 13 meeting.
