Kids' Theatre Classes at Darien Arts Center
Kids' theatre classes with veteran actress of TV, film and stage start on February 24.

KIDS THEATRE CLASSES with Kitty Robertson, veteran actress of TV, film and theatre.
Each class meets for 12 Tuesdays from February 24 through May 19 and is $230 plus a $25 registration fee. Register at www.darienarts.org
Building I for grades 2 & 3, and Play Building II for grades 4 to 6. These new classes will give kids an opportunity to create a show from soup to nuts with props, costumes, and scenery. No experience is necessary. Play Building I will take place on Tuesdays from 4:45-5:45 p.m., Play Building II takes place on Tuesdays from 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Myths and Magic is a storytelling class for 3 and 4 year olds. Through innovative ways of teaching and knowledge of fun theatre games, children will gain self–assurance while also expanding their imagination. On Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30 p.m. or 1:45-2:45 p.m.
Storytelling Through Improv for grades K through 2, gives kids an understanding of constructing and exploring a story through intuition and spontaneity. On Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45.

VISUAL ARTS CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
One-Day Adult Pastel Workshop on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with award-winning pastel artist, Justin Davis. Students will learn drawing and pastel techniques and will work from life to create a finished still life drawing. All skill levels are welcome. Please register by noon on March 6. $80 per person, no registration fee.
Spring Forward Into Art for ages 5 and up on March 28 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. with DAC Visual Arts Director, Beth Cherico. Children will create several art projects that will celebrate the joyful season of spring. Please register by noon on March 27. $30 per person, no registration fee.
