Update On Maria, Connecticut's Updated 7-Day Weather Forecast
We experienced record high temperatures over the weekend in Connecticut. Some big changes are expected by the end of the week.

Record high temperatures were recorded in Connecticut Sunday, and the warm weather will stick around for a few more days before a cold front moves in and significantly drops temperatures by the end of the week. There also appears to be good news in that Hurricane Maria appears it will head out to sea later this week.
It appears mostly dry over the next seven days. There is a slight chance of some showers on Wednesday, and that is about it through next weekend.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said, “The temperature reached 92 degrees at Bradley Airport (Sunday) This is extremely unusual for fall. There has been only one other day this hot this late in the year in the last 112 years. That was a 93 degree reading on September 26, 2007.”

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said, “Another warm day expected today! Plenty of sunshine with high temperatures between 80 at the immediate Shoreline and 90 inland! The air-quality alert today is a bit unhealthy too! I am looking forward to much cooler weather by the end of this week. Also, good news, hurricane MARIA looks to be moving out to sea after just touching the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Have a great day!”
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Kevin Arnone said, “Another mild start to the day with temps in the mid 60s. We're expecting more record heat this afternoon with temps around 90!”
