Vacant Building Sustains 'Significant Damage' From Vandalism, Darien Police Say

Officers responded to the building on a report of "extensive" vandalism, police said.

DARIEN, CT — A vacant building on Tokeneke Road sustained "significant damage" after it was recently vandalized, according to the Darien Police Department.

On June 14 at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the vacant Colangelo Marketing building in the 100 block of Tokeneke Road on a report of "extensive" vandalism, police said in a crime summary update.

"Upon investigation, officers observed significant damage, including broken windows, graffiti with offensive language, shattered glass doors, and vandalism both inside and outside the building," police said.

Police did not specify when the vandalism is believed to have occurred. No arrests have been made.
