Vehicle Broken Into At Darien Home: Police
Police said the Darien resident also reported seeing a man running in the woods near his home.
DARIEN, CT — A vehicle parked at a Darien resident's home was broken into over the weekend, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros said a motor vehicle burglary was reported at a Delafield Island Road home Saturday around 11:30 a.m.
The resident told police someone entered his vehicle earlier that morning. He also reported seeing a man running in the woods near his home just before 11 a.m., Skoumbros said.

The resident discovered the door to his vehicle and glove box were open a short time later, however nothing was reported missing, Skoumbros said.
