Vehicle Burglarized In Bertucci's Parking Lot: Darien PD
The break in occurred on April 29.

DARIEN, CT — Darien police are investigating a vehicle break in that occurred the evening of April 29 in the parking lot of the Bertucci's Restaurant on the Post Road, according to authorities.
The vehicle, a 2017 Toyota Sienna had been locked left in the middle of the lot at about 6 p.m. while the owner went inside to have dinner.
"Upon returning to her vehicle, she observed the front passenger’s side window had been smashed," wrote Darien police in a statement, adding that the owner returned to the vehicle at about 8:45 p.m. "A tote bag that had been on the front passenger’s seat was missing, and the glove box was opened. Inside the tote was approximately $300 in Canadian currency, a passport, house keys, various bank cards, an iPad Mini, and a check book."

No other vehicles in the lot had been broken into, according to police, and security camera footage was not available.
