Voter Registration Deadline Approaching For Primary In Darien

DARIEN, CT — The deadline is approaching for voter registration to participate in the upcoming Aug. 9 primary.

Voter registration mail-in applications must be received by the Darien Registrars of Voters office by close of business (12:45 p.m.) on Aug. 4 2022; or postmarked or received by DMV, or a voter registration agency, by Aug. 4 ; or postmarked by Aug. 4, and received by the Registrars office by noon on Aug. 8 for voters to be enrolled and eligible to vote in the primary.

The deadline for in-person enrollment to vote in the primary (includes party-affiliated and unaffiliated voters) with the Registrars office is 12 p.m. on Aug. 8. (Exception: applications of servicemen and persons out of the country may be received throughout the day.)
