Weed Beach Pool Idea Tabled for Now
Some residents worried the pool would be too noisy.
DARIEN, CT- The Parks and Recreation Commission temporarily halted a proposal for a pool at Weed Beach.
Chairman Mary Flynn will ask the Board of Selectmen to create an advisory committee to help determine goals for development, according to the Darienite.
A survey showed strong support for the pool, but a public hearing showed the opposite sentiment for the proposal.
