What Business Do You Wish Existed in Darien?

We asked the readers of Darien Patch to tell us what business they thought should come to Darien.

The responses were mixed.

A few readers voiced their desire for a local hardware store. Patch reader Cristina Armstrong McKay added, “I miss Heights Hardware!”

Other readers had food on the mind, with suggestions for grocery stores and restaurants. John Lamendola requested, “a Waffle House, Piggly Wiggly, or a Publix,” while other food shopping requests were a local butcher or Dairy Queen.

What don’t Patch readers want? Amy Jack Powless summed it up with her comment: “No more banks and nail salons, please...”
