Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Southern Connecticut
The National Weather Service has just issued a Winter Weather Advisory for late Sunday into Monday. Here are the latest details.

Prepare to give yourself some extra time tomorrow when getting ready for work and don't be shocked if schools have delays either. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties.
For Fairfield and New Haven counties the advisory is from 10 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m. Monday and for Middlesex and New London counties its from midnight until 9 a.m.
For Fairfield and New Haven counties, the National Weather Service says:

* WHAT...Light freezing rain expected, including during the morning commute on Monday. Total accumulations of a trace to a hundredth of an inch are expected.
* WHERE...southern Connecticut

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The precipitation will likely start as snow tonight before transitioning to sleet and freezing rain late tonight and early Monday morning. A few tenths of an inch of snow and sleet are possible, especially from Connecticut to the Lower Hudson Valley.
And for Middlesex and New London counties, the weather service says:
* WHAT...Light freezing rain expected, including during the morning commute on Monday. Total accumulations of a trace to a hundredth of an inch are expected.
* WHERE...Northern Middlesex, Northern New London, Southern Middlesex and Southern New London Counties.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM EST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The precipitation will likely start as snow late tonight before gradually transitioning to sleet and freezing rain early Monday morning. A few tenths of an inch of
snow and sleet are possible.
