Woman Accused Of Violating Protective Order: Darien PD
The suspect also allegedly tried to pretend to be someone else, according to police.

DARIEN, CT — A 20-year-old Stamford woman, who police said had an active protective order against her, was arrested for allegedly violating that order and trying to pretend she was someone else following an altercation in Darien on Nov. 18, according to police.
Laura Herrera-Tututi, of Hope Street, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, interfering with an officer and criminal impersonation after the evening altercation between her and her boyfriend on Ward Lane near the Post Road.
"The female on scene (Herrera-Tututi) informed officers that she had argued with her boyfriend but that everything was fine now," wrote Darien police in a statement. "The male on scene stated that the two had argued, and as he walked away the female grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving. The male identified the female by the name 'Diana Herrera,' while the female would later identify herself as 'Emelyn Principle.' When questioned, the male party gave her real name and admitted he was attempting to keep his girlfriend from getting in trouble. Officers were able to determine that there was an active protective order on Herrera-Tututi with the male as the protected party."
