Woman High on PCP Struggles With Darien Police: PD

An officer went to investigate a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot and a short struggle ensued, police said.

DARIEN, CT — A woman who was high on PCP fought with police as she was being arrested at the Mobil Station, police said.

An officer noticed a vehicle parked in the closed gas station lot around 12:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Stamford Advocate. He ran the vehicle's plate and noticed the woman it was registered to had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear.

The driver appeared paranoid and agitated, police said. She locked her vehicle windows and tried to roll up her window. Officer struggled with her and pulled her keys when she went to put the vehicle in reverse, according to police.

Joanna Jack, 30, of Stamford was charged with possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and interfering with police after officers found PCP in aluminum folds, police said.
