
Xtreme Cheer, a premier cheerleading and dance academy, is moving to a new, state-of-the-art facility in the SoNo Ice House building, 300 Wilson Avenue, Norwalk. The end-of-June move will allow Xtreme, which has a nationally recognized program featured on MTV, Seventeen Magazine, Cheerleading Magazine and others, to offer many new classes and air-conditioned summer camps beginning July 1st. CLASSES INCLUDE: - Beginners Tumbling (all ages welcome) - Advanced Tumbling (for those who can do a round-off back handspring) - Elite Tumbling (for those who can do a round-off back handspring layout, standing tucks, etc.) - F.A.S.T. -- Fitness, Agility, Strength Training (to work on conditioning, flexibility and endurance) - Hip Hop Dance - basics of hip hop, taught by professional choreographer Dilmer Bonifacio (professional cheerleader for the NJ Nets) - All-Star Cheer Team -- FOR ALL LEVELS SUMMER CAMPS: - Xtreme Cheer Camp - all ages - will work on the basics of all cheerleading - July 29th-Aug. 1st, 10am-2pm (early drop-off options are available) - Advanced Tumbling Camp - July 15th-18th - Elite Tumbling Camp - Aug. 5th-8th 10% discount offered for registration by May 31st.
