The Darien YMCA is revealing the seven fitness challenges that teams will compete in during its event, The Y Games: Team Charity Challenge on Sunday, June 7th. The event will be held indoors at the Darien YMCA with up to 28 teams of four individuals participating.
Darien YMCA Health & Fitness Director Jess Van Sciver reports, “If you’ve ever taken a fitness class or even a phys ed class, you’ll have no problem with these events. We designed the seven fitness challenge events to be a workout while also being a lot of fun.”
The seven events will each last fifteen minutes with a short transition period in between. They are:
“Spin Your Heart Out” – A biking event using the Y’s spin bikes.
