Yankee Gas Mainline Work Taking Place on Various Darien Roads

An announcement from the Darien Department of Public Works:

Please be advised that Yankee Gas will be repairing, relocating, inspecting, or otherwise working on their gas mains in and around the Town of Darien, Abbey Road, Intervale Road drainage project.

Work is being performed in the area in advance and in preparation of town drainage project. The town is hopeful that Yankee Gas work will avoid conflicts and delays in drainage work.

Yankee Gas will work on the following roads: Interval Road, Devon Road, Forest Road, Stanley Road, Abbey Road, Holmes Avenue, Holmes Court, Rose Lane, Middlesex Avenue.

According to Yankee Gas, interruptions in gas service to individual residences will be for a matter of hours (if at all).
