YWCA Darien/Norwalk Presents 'The Birds and the Bucks'

Financial Expert Gives Parental Advice on Talking to College Kids about Money on May 20

As part of the YW Financial Workshop Series, The YWCA Darien/Norwalk Inspire Club is presenting The Birds and the Bucks, on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the YW, 49 Old Kings Highway North in Darien. The discussion provides practical advice for parents on how to speak to college kids about money.

Susan Bruno, co-founder of DivaCFO, a women’s financial empowerment organization, will lead the talk. Bruno will discuss the practical money skills that college kids need (and often don’t have) as they mature into adulthood, and how these skills help to ensure financial stability and success in college, careers and in life.

The fee for the talk, which is open to all, is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. Registration is recommended at ywcadariennorwalk.org. For more information on these and future events, please visit ywcadariennorwalk.org or call (203) 655-2535.
