YWCA Parent Awareness Presents 'College Success Guaranteed 2.0'

YWCA Parent Awareness, a family-focused program that provides support and education to parents and children in order to encourage the healthy, positive development of youth and families, along with Barrett Bookstore, are presenting ‘College Success Guaranteed 2.0, 5 Rules for Parents’ on April 22 at 7 p.m. at Barrett Bookstore, 314 Heights Road, Darien

Author Malcolm Gauld will lead a discussion and sign copies of his recently updated book, College Success Guaranteed 2.0, that offers a straightforward plan for parents to help their new college student not only survive freshman year, but to thrive and succeed.

With anecdotes from current college students and recent graduates, Gauld will present five simple rules for parents. College Success Guaranteed 2.0 is a short, non- preachy and fun, and slightly irreverent primer written to help parents get any student off on a strong start to the best four years of his or her life.

Malcolm Gauld is president of the Hyde Schools, a national community of public and private schools and programs committed to a unique brand of family-based character education. The first 20 attendees will receive a 10% discount on the purchase price of his book.
