• Popular Restaurant Closes After Devastating Fire In Durham (patch.com) — Durham residents are rallying around Cozy Corner after a devastating kitchen fire forced the beloved New Haven Road restaurant to close indefinitely and left its staff suddenly unemployed. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, but the longtime owner, described as a community pillar, was hospitalized for smoke inhalation as plans to rebuild begin taking shape.
