MIDDLEFIELD, CT — A three-car crash has resulted in injuries in Middlefield, according to fire officials.

The accident was reported Wednesday morning on Route 66 westbound just west of Guidas.

The crash has resulted in traffic, which will continue until environmental clean-up is complete.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the area.

The Westfield Fire Department has brought a hazardous materials trailer to the scene of the accident.
