• Former Connecticut nonprofit director pleads guilty to stealing $775K from 2 organizations (fox61.com) — A former executive director of Durham Middlefield Youth & Family Services has pleaded guilty to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the Middlefield-based agency, which serves families in Durham and Middlefield, as well as a Windham shelter. Federal prosecutors say he diverted more than $775,000 in total and now faces up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing set for December.
