18-Year-Old Allegedly Burglarizes East Hampton Home

On Thursday, March 12, at about 11:54 p.m., the East Hampton Police Department was dispatched to a report of a residential burglary.

Officers quickly apprehended Brandon Kochuk,18, of 65 Clark Hill Rd., East Hampton, after a brief investigation.

Kochuk was charged with:

• Burglary in the 3rd Degree
• Larceny in the 3rd Degree
• Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree
• Possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kochuk was held on a $5,000 Cash or Surety Bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday, March 13.
