Friends of Lake Pocotopaug is assisting the 6th Annual “Capt. Grizzy Scholarship Poker Run” for BIKES & HOT-RODS in remembrance of our good friend Dennis Griswold. As many of you know, Dennis Griswold operated the Happiest Paddler WestShore Marine on Lake Pocotopaug, and was one of the founders of The Friends of Lake Pocotopaug, a volunteer, non profit organization dedicated to improving the water quality of the lake. Unfortunately, we all lost a great friend when Dennis passed away on August 27, 2008. In remembrance of Dennis, a scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving East Hampton student who is pursuing a higher education with a concentration in environmental science. 

SO....SAVE THE DATE!!!! MAY 31, 2014 - Registration starts; 10:30am at Loco Perro in East Hampton!! A beautiful ride thru Connecticut, finishing up at Angelico's Lake House and enjoy some music from the band Head First!!
