• Police search for driver who hit firefighter at East Hampton crash scene (fox61.com) — East Hampton police are searching for the driver of a blue minivan that struck a firefighter Sunday evening on Route 66 at a crash scene, then left the area. The firefighter, treated for arm bruising and now home, was nearly hit along with other responders as the vehicle sped through the blocked-off roadway. Residents with any information are urged to contact East Hampton police.
