East Hampton & Portland Weekend Guide: Fall River Views From Hurd State Park

PORTLAND, CT — East Hampton and Portland have little on the calendar this Columbus Day weekend, from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, with the Portland Fair wrapped up last weekend. That leaves time for a fall hike above the Connecticut River.
