A new statewide holiday gift guide aims to help Connecticut shoppers discover gifts and experiences from local businesses, and submissions are now open.
Created by East Hampton business owner Lauryn Wendus, founder of Next Door Creations, the 2026 Connecticut Holiday Gift Guide brings together products, gift cards, and experiences from shops, makers, and small businesses across the state.
The project grew from a simple idea: make shopping local easier by gathering Connecticut gift ideas in one place. Shoppers will be able to explore options for children, teens, and adults, along with gifts for food lovers, cozy finds, jewelry, clothing, and local experiences.
The effort also brings together marketing professionals and community organizations to help participating businesses reach more holiday shoppers. For small-business owners already juggling production, customer service, and seasonal preparations, the guide offers another way to introduce their offerings to a wider audience.
Connecticut businesses can submit through October 31, including businesses that sell exclusively online. Participation starts at $25, with a $50 option for prioritized placement. There are no sales commissions or additional required fees.
Residents can support the project by sharing the submission opportunity with their favorite Connecticut shops and makers, then returning to the guide for holiday shopping inspiration.
