EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police said they were "notified that a federal law enforcement agency" is conducting emergency responder training at the old Connecticut Yankee Power Plant in Haddam Neck.
The training will be Wednesday and Thursday between noon and 3 p.m.
"The training will involve small, controlled detonations of small amounts of explosives in order to train first responders on how to respond to these types of incidents," police said.
