Anger, Shouting At East Hampton New Town Hall Meeting

Anger levels were high at the meeting.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A meeting to consider a proposal for a new town hall/police station turned into yelling and direct verbal attacks on people.

One councilor directly criticized the town's executive assistant and there was an exchange between the project architect and another councilor.

In the end the Town Council voted to send the proposal to the Board of Finance, according to the Middletown Press.
