Another Session of Youth Programs from the Middlesex YMCA

The Middlesex YMCA offers a variety of youth programs which go beyond the typical gym and swim you might associate with the Y.

Our Fall 2 programs have just started (10/11/14), but it’s not too late to register. This Fall 2 session we are offering Soccer and Archery at Camp Ingersoll on Saturdays, as well as Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Ballet 2, Dance with Me, and Jazz and Hip Hop classes at the Middlesex YMCA on Sundays.

We understand there are many different options and classes in which your child can participate. At the Y, we strive to provide quality instruction to children primarily between the ages of two and ten years old, and feel our fun and coordinated approach creates a perfect introduction for our young participants. We believe instruction at this age should focus on basic skills and teaching how to interact with peers while displaying the core values we Identify with at the Middlesex YMCA. Children in our classes are always involved in activities with little to no waiting time, they make new friends, and they build confidence and self esteem all while having fun in a supportive and active environment.

Trying something new can be intimidating no matter your age. Our Parent and Me Dance and Sport classes introduce the youngest children to participating in a group setting while still having familiar faces to rely on. These classes create a seamless transition to our Pee-Wee and next level Dance classes where children learn how to be more independent while interacting with new friends. No matter the age, trying something new can be a tough commitment. We understand and invite you to try a class prior to registering. That way, you can determine if the class is the right fit for you and your family.
