Armed Bandit Robs Haddam Gas Station
CT State Police: The robber had a knife-type weapon and was wearing a ski mask.

A man armed with a knife-type weapon robbed a Haddam gas station late Tuesday, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police said that at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 18, Troopers from Troop F-Westbrook responded to the Tylerville Mobil Mart at 1598 Saybrook Rd. in the town of Haddam for a reported armed robbery.
Upon arriving at the Mobil Mart, troopers secured the scene, searched the area for the suspect with the assistance of a State Police K-9 team and initiated an investigation. The Central District Major Crime Squad responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

The lone suspect is described as a white male, mid-20s, wearing jeans, a dirty white T-shirt and a dark colored ski mask covering his face. The male suspect was armed with a knife-type weapon. The suspect fled from the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
There were no reported injuries.
