The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for the East Hampton-Portland area from midnight Sunday evening through Monday morning at 8 a.m.
Sub-Freezing temperatures in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees are expected.

Below freezing temperatures can kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
By 9 a.m. Monday temperatures should climb up to 55 degrees and the day will be mostly sunny. Wind chill values are between 30 and 40 degrees.

A chance of shower is expected Monday evening after midnight. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
