Charter Revision Commission to Discuss Who Can Fill Board of Ed Post in East Hampton

The Town Council and the Board of Education have disagreed over which group can fill an open position.

The East Hampton Charter Revision Commission will discuss a dispute between the Town Council and the Board of Education over which group can fill an open position on the schools group.

In recent months, the disagreement has raged between the two groups, eventually leading to the board filing a lawsuit against the council, reports The Middletown Press.

Both groups have tried, awkwardly, to make appointments to fill the vacancy.
