In-Depth Budget Examination Begins in East Hampton

EAST HAMPTON, CT - The East Hampton Board of Finance has begun an examination of the proposed 2017-18 budget, according to the Middletown Press.
The board has been assessing components of the proposed $45.96 million budget, according to the Middletown Press. Budget matters have been complicated this year due to questions of what and how much revenue the town can expect from the state.
Town officials have been putting off action on the budget for a week in hopes that more information from state officials would become available, the Middletown Press reported. The Board of Finance began a full budget review Monday.
