Dog Shot With BB Gun In East Hampton: PD

A neighbor was arrested, according to police.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — A local man was charged with shooting a dog with a BB gun, according to police.

Christopher Grant told police he didn't intentionally shoot the dog that lives on a nearby property, according to the Middletown Press. He said he was aiming for chipmunks and squirrels that cause the dogs to bark.

Grant was arrested in mid-July. The dog's owner noticed a BB after a scab fell off his dog.
