Drug Factory Shut Down In East Hampton: PD

Police said they found about 40 marijuana plants inside the home.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — An East Hampton man was charged with operating a drug factory after police found about 40 marijuana plants inside his home, according to police.

The home at 8 Lake View Street was raided Tuesday evening, according to WTNH. They found plants in various stages of development along with equipment to grow and dry them, police said. More than a pound of processed marijuana was found.

Michael Philhower, 28, was arrested.
