East Hampton Hires New Town Manager
The town has brought in a candidate from Wisconsin with decades of experience in municipal government.
EAST HAMPTON, CT — The town recently hired David E. Cox as its town manager, a Wisconsin resident with nearly three decades of experience in local government, according to The Middletown Press. Cox accepted an offer for the position extended by the Town Council last week.
He will begin the position Sept. 3 at an annual salary of $140,000. Previously, Cox served as village administrator for Hartland, Wis., a town of 9,300 people.
Cox takes the place of Michael Maniscalco, who left in July to take a position in South Windsor, The Middletown Press reported.
