East Hampton Looks Into Repairing Leaky Library Roof: Report
A number of town officials feel the work is necessary after years of leaks and other issues.
EAST HAMPTON, CT — Town officials are looking into repairing the East Hampton Public Library's roof, which many feel is necessary after years of leaks and other issues, the Middletown Press reported.
According to the Middletown Press, Council Chairwoman Melissa H. Engel said the roof has been a problem for over 30 years. One Tuesday, a licensed professional engineer with Anchor presented the council with a set of five proposed options for repairing the roof, which he said could take at least two months.
