East Hampton Man Arrested After Alleged Domestic Incident

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the East Hampton Police Department was dispatched to Flanders Road to investigate a domestic disturbance, according to the East Hampton Police Dept.’s Facebook page.

After investigating the incident , Christopher Scaplen, 30, was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct, threatening in the second degree, violation of a protective order and criminal attempt to commit assault in the first degree.

He was held on a $50,000 surety bond.
