East Hampton Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Portland Crash

PORTLAND, CT – A motorcyclist is in critical condition after colliding with a car Sunday, the Middletown Press reported.

The incident occurred at 12:53 p.m. on Route 66 near the intersection with Sand Hill Road, according to the Middletown Press. The victim was identified as Donald Smith Jr. of East Hampton.

Smith’s helmet flew off as a result of the collision, according to the Middletown Press. Police are still investigating the situation.
