East Hampton Police Arrest Suspect for Running Over Man with Truck: Police

EAST HAMPTON, CT - Police said they have arrested a man suspected of running over another man with his truck, NBC Connecticut reported.

Police said Alex Banning, 24, threatened a number of people with a metal pipe near his Coughlin Road home, according to NBC Connecticut. Witnesses said the suspect threatened a 30-year old man with the pipe before running him over with a truck.

The suspect faces a number of assault charges, in addition to DUI and threatening, according to NBC Connecticut. The victim was taken to Middlesex Medical Center for treatment.
