EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police Chief Sean Cox said the current <a href="http://www.middletownpress.com/government-and-politics/20170831/east-hampton-police-chief-offers-bleak-picture-of-departments-cramped-inadequate-quarters" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">2,400 square foot space</a> in the basement of town hall is inadequate for a police station and prevents the department from offering basic services.Officers park private vehicles and change into uniform in a private facility nearly two miles away from headquarters, according to the Middletown Press.
