East Hampton Police Log: DUI, Disorderly Conduct, Narcotics Possession

The following arrest log was released on April 19, 2015.

On 4/16/15 at about 6:30 p.m. following a citizen complaint of erratic driving, officers located and conducted a traffic stop on the alleged violator.

After conducting an investigation, Ronald Cook was placed under arrest for violating CGS 14-227a Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and or Drugs, and CGS 14-230a Failure to Drive Right. Cook was released after signing a $500 Non-Surety bond wherein he agrees to appear before GA9 Middletown Superior Courthouse on 4/29/15 at about 0900 hours to answer to these charges.

On 4/14/2015 at about 11:23 a.m., officers located and arrested Kyle Rutkauski. Rutkauski had two active PRAWN warrants, both for violating CGS 53a- 173* Failure to Appear 2nd Degree. Rutkauski was unable to post $6000 court set bond and was held until his court date on 4/15.

On 4/12/15 at about 12:30 a.m., officers responded to Lakeview Street for a reported domestic disturbance. Prior to officers arrival the victim reported that the accused left the residence on a motorcycle. Officers immediately located the motorcycle and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Following an investigation, Jaime Branciforte was placed under arrest and charged with violating CGS 14-215b Operation of a Motor Vehicle under suspension, and CGS 53a-182 Disorderly Conduct. He was released after promising to appear before Middletown Superior Court on 4/13/15 at 0900 hours to answer to these charges.

On 4/11/15, James Sadlowski was placed under arrest after a traffic stop for a motor vehicle equipment violation. Sadlowski was charged with violating CGS 14-227a Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and or Drugs, and CGS 14-96q Misuse of High Beams. He was released after signing a Promise to Appear, wherein he agreed to appear before the court at GA9 in Middletown on 4/22/2015 at 9 a.m. to answer to these charges.

On 4/3/2015 at about 10:03 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 1 Young Street for a one car motor vehicle accident. Following an on scene investigation the operator of that vehicle, identified as Thomas Gribbin, was placed under arrest for Failure to Drive Right C.G.S. 14-230a; and Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs C.G.S. 14-227a.

Gribbin was released after signing a $50000 non-surety bond wherein he agreed to appear before the GA 9 court in Middletown on 04/15/2015 to answer to the aforementioned charges

On 4/3/15, Shawn Lamarr was located and placed under arrest from an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a prior incident. Lamarr was charged with Possession of Narcotics, CGS 21a-279(a). He was released upon posting the $2,500 court set bond and promising to appear before GA 9 on 4/14/15 to answer for this charge.
